San Francisco's Hotel Triton: (BYOP) Bring Your Own Pet

hanging out in the hotel.

These days it's quite difficult to find a hotel, especially a downtown hotel, where pets are allowed. Hotel Triton, on the other hand, strives to offer accommodation where pets are not only tolerated, they are welcomed. I've stayed in many places before that had a very strict "one dog only, under 30 pounds" rule, and that seems to be a common regulation in places that allow pets at all. At the Hotel Triton, you can bring any kind of pet you want, and as many as you want. With the hotel's weight limit set at an impressive 200 pounds per pet, this pretty much leaves things open for just about everyone.

But the great thing about the Triton is not just that pets are allowed - it's the way you're treated as a guest when you show up with animals in tow. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need, and that all your extra requirements are catered for. The hotel itself provides a bed for each of your pets, bottled water, food bowls, and treats. They also help you connect with local businesses that provide any other services you might have a use for. They give you a list of local sitters, pet stores, dog walkers, and daycare services, so you're never left without choices. If you have people coming into town who need a pet-friendly place to stay, not only is the Triton more than accommodating in the pet department, it's a great hotel in every other sense, as well.
