My cats love to hang out on my shoulders. If I'm on the computer long enough (or sitting down someplace) they'll come and crawl up and snuggle with me. They also enjoy hiding out in the top shelf of my closet, and I can't even figure out how they're getting up there!!
my cat's favorite perch is a window seat in the hall that looks out at a couple of birdfeeders. I call it the bird-cat seat!

My cats love perching on anything that we'll let them! One of my kitties, Paige, is a shoulder kitty. She'll perch on your left shoulder (never the right). Another of my kitties, Lepsy, loves to sit on my lap between me and my laptop (and sometimes on it!). They also like sitting on top of the stereo tuner because it's warm. They'll actually fight for that spot!
I have 6 rescued shelter cats form when I used to volunteer at a shelter for 17 years. Illness has prohibited me from volunteering anymore, and it is something I miss very much although it still brings a smile to my face. My cats always manage to make me laugh with their comical ways, and thru the pain, they still and always bring me much joy. A kitty condo would be most welcome since I do not have enough window sills for all of them to sit on. Thank you

Rainboe (she's a calico) and Daphne are sisters and insist on sleeping together even though they have their own beds and while they have a large size bed it isn't big enough for the two of them to stretch out in and they end up all tangled up get out of sorts with each other. This would let them be together and not together. Know they would love it. Bet Rainbow would pick the top condo as she is more adventersome than Daphne.
One of my cats is stuck upstairs because he is afraid of my dogs - he has nothing to elevate him so he can look out the window. Having this would be perfect for our home!

Our boys, Oreo and Nilla Wafer love to sit in windows and watch the birds. They have loved the more traditional kitty condo to death. I on the other hand have hated it, it is so ugly. Love the look of the modern ones and think our cats will love it too! Need two of them, one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

My oldest Cat, 12 yr old Smokie, will lay wherever is warm and soft while my other cat, 9 yr old Biff, whenever possible will lay completely on top of Smokie. As that Biff is a huge cat at over 20lbs and Smokie isn't even 9lbs this gets to be an issue. Wherever Smokie is laying Biff thinks that he needs to be lying right on top of him... This could be helpful..
My cats perch on anything that isn't moving. That includes bookcases and the TV. Their favorite is on the top of the couch behind my head.
My cat likes to be on a multi-layer "carpet" covered cat perch with one nice "box" to cuddle in and the others are "steps" to sit on to see out the window. Downstairs I keep my cat interested in a short upright pedastal with carpet at bottom and top and braided material that goes around the middle of the pole rather than scratching on my furniture! My cat gets a good stretch doing it too.

My kitty just passed away, but I'll be getting kittens this week! My dearly-departed girl's favorite place was the futon, toward the end of her life. It was low to the ground and since she went blind, one of the few places she could jump in spite of not being able to see. She'd just feel the height with her paws, first, then up she went.
Clyde, Clea, and Annie love to perch on the window shelves my husband built for them. They also perch on the backs of the couches and window sills, which ever gets them closer to the birds. They perch on our shoulders, too.

My cat Rocky likes to perch on the rungs of a barstool. I don't know how he keeps his balance, but he manages somehow.
All three of my cats are currently perched on top of my legs taking a nice long nap while I use the laptop. In two hours when my son comes home from school, they will move from my legs to the kitchen table where they will watch him do his homework by the kitchen window. He will do homework while they chirp at the birds in the trees.

We own (7) fur babies with 6 of them being rescued. They starve for attention and after losing my job in 2008 due to the economy it has been great to spend time with them again. Since our home is small they usually try and lay in the same places such as back of couch, arms of chair, dinette table chairs, and our bed. This would be such a blessing to have for them.

We have 2 cats. They perch everywhere. The youngest though steals my husband's place on the couch which drives him crazy. He's always having a little talk with her about it. Hasn't helped yet, maybe this cat condo would be more appealing for them both.
My cat, Quistapha loves his butterfly chair and all his favorite toys are in it. He lays on the back of the chair and looks out the window at the birdfeeder.

My two fat kitties have various perches, in particular the fatter of the two loves to drape himself over armrests....by drape I mean let his legs dangle over either side and his chin hang down the front. It is as "chill" as you can ever hope to be! The less fat girl cat loves to shove herself into my boyfriends baseball hats. By shove I mean the hat is flipped upside down, her belly is on the brim and the entire upper part of her body is in the hat itself...usually with one pay languidly sticking out of the adjustment hole in the back. Rediculous.

My cats are currently lounging on a ratty (from their scratching) 5 year old condo. It sheds carpet, the scratching post doesn't work anymore and it looks terrible - this one would look so much better in our apartment, and the cats would love it!

Miss Sodie Anne, my cat, loves to sit in an old New Balance shoe box on top of the TV. It's warm up there and she likes that the box has a lid. She likes to keep the lid slightly closed, but open enought to see out. She even uses her little claws to bring down the lid on her own!!!

Most of the cats like the standard old carpeted cat trees I have around the house. A few like to sit on the chairs when they're tucked under the dining table. At least one prefers my shoulder or the top of my computer.
Neera, Bourbon and Gunther fight over who gets to perch on the cat tree and who gets the window sill. Neera being the oldest and smallest tends to lose, but her love for being up high has her try to find new places to perch. Bourbon tries to perch on top of the room divider, and Gunther tries anywhere he can. This perch would just make it easier for Neera to have a high, safe place to perch. I even know exactly where in my place I'd put it so that Neera can have full use of it. And when I say Neera is the oldest, I mean she's 10, while Bourbon is 5, and Gunther is only 18 months old.

One of my cats - She-La - has taken over our 5 foot tall cat perch - it has a box like top shelf and she is there most of the day! The others ( Chickie, Otie, Buddy Jr) will sit on whatever high place they can jump to - on top of the TV enclosure, the cupboard tops etc.

My sons cat loves our waterbed when she's in the house but right now she and the two cats we just adopted love being in our machine shed where they love to perch on the tractor roof, the straight truck and semi cab (hoods, roofs, fenders and box) and the 6 straw bales we've got in there. The love the roofs of the tractor and trucks so they can see when we go in to feed & water them. I wonder where they'll want to be when I get the house clean and let them back in? The waterbed again! We have 6 kitties that all rule the house. Gunnar, Newman, Larkin, Klesko, Nuxhall, & Sparta. They sleep basically anywhere they want...Our laps are their number one choice but when we're not home, the top of the non-Flatscreen TV (guess it's warm,) on our laptop (and always seem to change our settings,) on top of the fridge and even on top of the newly installed cabinets...as high as they can go! In the winter time, they perch on top of anything that sits in front of a vent/register so they can "feel that warmth!"
Sapphire, who is 18, loves her dollbed I got at a thrift store. My rescues Bailey and Kahlua love the faux fur covered body pillow that runs along the headboard above our head pillows. My other rescue, Big Guy loves his padded dog kennel.

i have 2 cats and they like to fight over. my younger cat will sit on top and hit the older one while he is inside. Sadly the stand is about 16 years old that my mom gave me and has been re-carpet'd 3 times.
Both of my cats love to perch on my windowsill, but one in particular likes to perch on my kitchen cabinets (which is a BIG no-no). They also have a small cat tower that they fight over.

Our kitties LOVE to perch on top of the kitchen cabinets! They jump up to the counter, onto the fridge and then up to the top of the cabinets. I wish they wouldn't though....I usually have to rescue them from the top of the fridge on the way down LOL
My Zeusa Bear loves to perch on my tummy. Even if I turn on my side he will find the highest spot on the human and somehow manage to balance. My other darling joy, Zarina, has currently taken over the top of the dresser to gaze longingly out at the neighborhood during her afternoons.
Bogart loves to perch as high as he can get -- the window sill, kitchen cabinets, or door sills. His little sister Kira loves to perch on top of things on the floor, especially bags, boxes, and paper. She also likes to sit on paper on my desk.

Yam and Black loves cat tree, they always perch on top and look down at me sometimes Yam and Black would fight for top perch and Yam being bigger than Black usually quit and let Black go to the top while Yam sulks at 2nd top perch. Their tree is 3 years old and is sagging and about to collapse because both cats loves to run from bottom to top of tree or they jump from table to tree make it sway and sag. It is time to get them new tree

I rescue, adopt, and foster kitties. Because I have so many, they perch wherever they can. When it's cold, I often have seven lying on me (from my chest to my feet) while I'm lying on the couch trying to read!

My kitty Amanda enjoys perching on the back of the sofa or on her very old, ugly, scratched up small piece of kitty furniture. She loves it to death..we've had it for 6years and its a staple piece of furniture in my living room but I'd love to see it go!
Usually, where ever, and whenever I am about to lay down, be it the bed or couch, they seem to know, and plop their happy butts down right there!

Our spaz monkey, Kenya, loves high places. She loves the top of the pantry, top of the bookcase but she loves her carpeted 3-tier kitty perch. Even though she loves high places, her absolute fav is the round tier of the carpeted perch. We call it her 'tube'. She folds herself in half and goes to sleep for hours, tube-style!

I rescued 2 cats that no one wanted and just LEFT! They are both male and gorgeous. Of course i'm keeping them (Plus my miniature dachshund adores them). I just got married, just bought our first new house, just lost my job, and my husband is about to lose his b/c there is no work, now we are about to lose the house and everything with it. My 2 cats love to perch and sun bathe on the kitchen counter with me while i do the daily dishes. Also love to sit on top of our fridge, mantle, and on the top of my dresser in a little corner. :) I love my pets!!!

My 17 year old cat doesn't so much "perch" as "flop" anymore, but he still LOVES to sleep his days away, either snuggled deeply into my Tempurr-pedic bed, or nestled right on top of the heating grate built into my kitchen floor! It makes the rest of the house freezing, but at least his little pads are never cold. =]

My cat Ferret Likes to sit on anything near any window, We "had" Leather couches but are now thrown out because of him. We've had several end tables that he likes to gnaw on...so we though of using a harder top table, but we like the look of wood. Then we stopped putting anything by any window...but he'll jump and hang on to the window seal and scratch up our walls. We got him 3 cat condo's. And all of them he hated, and to let us know how much he hated it....he would leave a present. Not fun. I had a friend who had baby sited him for a weekend, and I was surprised to find out that he was so calm the whole weekend, just because she had a small tube slide to a window...so we tried to find a cat house with a tube, but none of them are right, there to low or to high for his favorite window. So my husband made one....he's not a very good carpenter...and this size and measure would be perfect for my cat's favorite window. And for his golden age I think it would be the best way to thank him for being such a good friend to me.
Max loves to flop on the computer chair when no ones around, takes a while to get her move when you need it, she's a hoot.

Lir, my child of almost 12 yrs. would be in heaven as he loves to perch on almost anything when my lap isn't available. Contest between he, Fallon and Sweetie as to who gets the lap first when I get home, the other two then go pout until it's their turn. Oddly enough, the 3 I have now don't really perch on anything at all. You are more apt to find them curled up in a box or on a bed. My 20 year old lady, who unfortunately died a year ago, was the percher--top of the kitchen cabinets, the refrigerator, the china hutch--anything up high!
My cat is an attention w-... well, he likes his attention. He's pretty much clued to my desk, right in front of my keyboard. It's a good thing I can touch type... and he knows it.
My husband's cat, she doesn't do perches. You see, she's afraid to jump most places. She thinks the bed is too high and complains about it. She prefers a good box and ground level. Except when she's going to pounce my kitty - and then, the sofa wins.

I'm a veterinary technician and feline behavior expert. I have 10 cats (all rescues) and they all scratch on their various scratchers throughout the house. We have cardboard flat ones, vertical posts, and tall climbing cat trees, I LOVE the design of this scratcher esp because it gives the kitties a place to hide and sleep.

We recently rescued two kittens, that love to perch anywhere that we are. Back of the loveseat to look out the window, on top of the clean laundry basket as I'm trying to fold clothes, but especially right where we were sitting, right before we got up to go get something. They both would love this perch. Right up their alley, LOL!

I think Bonnie or Lynne should win! A coveted spot in my house is the shoulder of the fireplace in the middle of the den--it's not that it's warm (only candles are lit in the fireplace), but it's difficult to get to and only one or two can figure out how and manage the leap. From there the king of the hill can look down on all lesser mortals, all of whom I'm sure would enjoy this cat furniture once I get around to buying it!
Smokey perches many places but his favorite is right next to my feet when I am in my recliner with the feet up. If I need to get up I have to scrunch down and not disturb him !

I have a shelf which faces a window above my desk in my home office. Everyday, that spot has a cat in it and it's usually first come, first served. If a cat is in the spot, it won't let any other's near it. Whoever gets there first, is the lucky one!

Our 8 rescue kitties have 3 floors of windows & furniture to choose from. Often their favorite is based on what room we are in. They love our king sized bed, The Bay window seat or the top of the refrigerator in the kitchen, any of the furniture or the window perch in the living room and the seats or backs of the furniture in the family room get used equally. Occasionally they use their beds or cat trees.

First, let me say, VERY COOL! We have a natural wood, 5 tiered cat perch in our family room. Of course none our our 5 babies, Butterscotch, BooBoo, Beijing, Buttons, or Binki, likes the bottom perch. All five cats love being with all of us also. They sleep with anyone of the five of us, cuddle on the empty office chair, snuggle with us as we sit to read or watch TV, sit on the stationary bike seat in the exercise room, AND that is where they need a cool perch like this! We LOVE our cats! They are an important part of our family. I think they make us better people.

With 5 furry cats who are always underfoot along side my 10 month old granddaughter, this prize would be a welcomed relief. I know the kitties would love it and it would hopefully keep them up and away, at least part of the time.
We have 4 cats and they all seem to want to be at the spot that I want to be in. Gwenie, my calico, would be all comfy on the radiator until I decide to sit down by the computer. She must be a mind reader because she plops down on the chair before I do. Same for the 2 tabbies, although they prefer my favorite spot on the couch. My tortoiseshell, who is between 16-20 years old (found her with no birth certificate), loves the bed. I have to take 2 pillows and put them about 6 inches apart and parallel to each other. She then lies between the pillows.

My cats fav perch is a shelf just above my computer! They stare at me while I am working!

One of my cats likes to perch on the computer desk which isn't my fave cause the keyboard keeps getting hair in it! BUT if I had something this amazing I am betting they would perch in it and leave my computer alone :D
Currently, my cat will perch inside cardboard boxes and on top of rubbermaid bins. Poor thing doesn't have anything close to an appropriate window ledge.
One kitty loves to sit on the window sill if the window is open. If it's closed she will sit on my printer which is directly in front of the window. The other cat has no interest in looking outside. She prefers to perch on my shoulder or sit on my keyboard.
Maybe your cat would actually like to keep in the box but would not miss the other items--so cat could have some space, comfy spot vs hard jabs of stuff.
