Adolescent Dog Training with Dr. Ian Dunbar Seminar in San Francisco
Famed dog behavior expert Dr. Ian Dunbar is hosting a seminar in San Francisco in March, and it promises to be a real problem-solver for those who have been surprised by the behavior changes in their newly-adolescent dogs. A lot of people don't realize when they get a puppy that they go through a similar stage that human teenagers do - rebelliousness, raging hormones, and general mayhem. If you want you and your dog to come out of this difficult transition period unscathed, it pays to have a repertoire of techniques to deal with problems and behavior issues as they arise.
This three-day seminar will take place at the DoubleTree San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, and will run from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m starting Friday, March 19th. For guests who require accommodation, a limited amount of guest rooms have been set aside, and you can book one upon registration. It's wise to register as early as possible, as places are given on a first come, first served basis, and space is limited.
Participants will be treated to three days of expert advice and tips detailing why adolescent dogs behave the way they do, and how to cope with and correct unwanted behaviors in animals who are no longer puppies, but not yet grown. This is a pivotal time in a dog's life, and habits learned during this period can stick for a lifetime. Armed with the right training tools, owners have a much greater chance of getting their dogs on the right behavioral track, which can make things much easier down the road.
