The idea behind the hotel is that it's the best of the outdoors, except it's indoors where dogs can play in a safe environment that makes them feel comfortable and mimics the experiences they get when they go outside.

Dog owners will be pleased to know that there are no cages at the High Tail, and the emphasis is truly on letting dogs play and roam around. There is a main 2,000 square feet indoor grassy play area that has a 4 feet fall ratio (similar to what you would find at a children’s playground), and with the advanced drainage system, using the artificial grass as a bathroom is simply not a problem. There is plenty of fresh air, natural light, and non-poisonous plants to make everything pleasing and comfortable. The Green certification means the High Tail is eco-friendly, with a commitment to using biodegradable and non-toxic products.

Because of the special training of the staff, the High Tail Hotel is especially well-suited for elderly dogs or dogs who have special needs. Aside from regular opening hours, there are regular events at the High Tail, including yappy hours, birthday celebrations for the dogs, and parties during the holiday season.
